Search Engine Optimization

SEO offers a visible and effective search presence leading to a considerableincrease of sales, profitability, and cost efficiency for our clients.

Did you know that there are over 1 billion websites on the internet?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a complex process that involves both on page and off page methods that ensure your site will be on page one for relevant search engine queries. At SDMP, we do things a little differently. We sit down with each of our clients and develop a unique strategy to ensure that their needs in the digital spectrum are fulfilled.

One of the most important attributes of on page SEO is the content provided. Search engines want their users to have a good experience. For example, if you were to do a Google query for “HVAC West Palm Beach” and the first page results only contained auto body shops your experience with Google would be sub-par. Search engines are looking for relevant content to ensure that their users are receiving the information that they are searching for. It is also important that a website updates it content from time to time. When a website is set up properly, whenever fresh content is added to the website the search engines will crawl the entire site and potentially see an increase in rankings.

On page SEO deals with the layout of your site. Ensuring that you have proper internal links, relevant page titles, meta description, meta keywords, headings, alt alternatives, and sitemap to name just a few. Google has publicly announced that several of these factors do not play a role in their ranking algorithm. However, it is our contention that a well-built website will still include all of the aforementioned resources.

Off page SEO has to do with other sites and how they interact with your site. Years ago it was very easy to have a site get to page one by receiving a myriad links from other sites. A link is best described as a referral from another business. Links are still a great way to increase your website rankings but they must occur naturally or your site can run the risk of being blacklisted (or as Google refers to it- put in the sandbox). A link from a similar business that is well established will help your rankings the most. It is actually very logical if you analyze it. If you are a family law attorney in West Palm Beach and another family attorney gives you a link (referral) from their website the search engines see this as better than a link from a plumber that just put their website up last week.

Other areas of off page SEO that are very important today deal with Social Media (SM). There are a plethora of Social Media sites and determining which sites are best and which sites are relevant to your business can be overwhelming. An SEO package would not be complete without at least some form of Social Media presence.
